Download And Set Up Microsoft Translator On Your Android Device

Software giant Microsoft, has released its translator app for both Android and iOS platforms.

Microsoft Translator supports 50 languages and has a nice real-time translation feature.

Here’s a step by step walkthrough on how to download Microsoft Translator app for your Android device:

Step 1:

Download “Microsoft Translator” app from the Play Store.

Step 2:

When you open the Microsoft Translator app, you will be presented with 2 options: “Speak to Translate” and “Type to Translate“.

Select your preferred input.

Step 3:

After selecting your input method; “Speak to Translate” or “Type to Translate“, you can then use the bottom menu that appears to specify the “input language” and the “output language“.

Step 4:

The real-time translation feature is enabled by default and the application suggests a related translation while you are typing. To disable the real time translation:

  • Go to the home page of the app.
  • Select the 3 dot “” button at the top right of your screen, and click on “Settings“.

  • Uncheck the “Continuous Updates” option.
