The National Service Scheme (NSS) is a constitutional mandate for all newly qualified Ghanaian university graduates to gain exposure on the job, both in the public and private sectors, as part of their civic responsibility to the State.
If you are a Ghanaian citizen who just completely your tertiary education in Ghana, you are required by law to complete a one-year national service.
In this post, i will show you the process for checking your NSS Posting online.
- You will need an NSS pin to be able to check the status of your NSS posting, if you do not have an NSS pin, apply for one here.
- If you have your PIN ready, visit the NSS Posting Portal or type “Posting.NSSGhana.Org” in your web browser.
On the NSS Posting portal, type in your “NSS Pin” in the “NSS No:” box, and click on the “Submit” button.
Make sure your NSS Pin is a 12 digit code (eg. NSSGCC100105).
- If you entered in a correct NSS Pin, you will see your personalized NSS posting similar to the image below.
- Pay attention to the links at the bottom of the page to see your official posting letter, and also print the page for your records.
Print two copies of your “Posting Letter” and “Posting Information” , and take it to the Regional Director in the region of your posting for endorsement and your assignment.
